Welcome to the Locksmith Association of San Antonio (LASA). We offer five categories of membership within our organization. As a member you may receive many benefits including Texas approved Continuing Education Units throughout the year, our monthly publication 'Master Pin', and regular fellowship with other locksmiths.
We meet the 2nd Thursday of each month except December. We meet at 4411 Moana, St. Thomas More Church/School in the cafeteria. (off Eisenhaur, in San Antonio) During the year we have before the meeting clinics, (starting at 7:00 pm) and a business meeting beginning at 8:00 pm. The meetings usually last a little over an hour.Educational classes are offered for members at a discounted fee and are given on weekends. At times, we also offer short classes during the week, usually in connection with a distributor. We have been known to give free CEU hours before the meeting on different topics.

State Rules & Reg Update 2-hr CEU ($25 memb $35 all others)

Oct 27 Safe Opening Class 8-hr CEU ($100 members $150 others)
Other classes requested (watch for updates)
** Possible: Master Keying, IC Core, Impressioning / Picking, Basic Electricity
*Ethics can be offered with at least 10 students at anytime*

All education for 'pocket card' renewal must be done through an accredited school. We certify the courses, maintain your records and issue certificates. Our State Registered School number is SR-120.
We are family oriented. We encourage you to bring guest to the meeting. We would like to know about your spouse and or family, as we send cards throughout the year for birthdays, sickness, babies, and anniversaries. We attend ball games at Mission Stadium, weather permitting we may have a picnic, Valentine Dinner, Thanksgiving Pot Luck, and an annual Awards Banquet & Installation of Officers.
There are committees actively working all year long. These committees are looking out for you. Any new or changing rules issued by the Private Security Bureau or DPS are reported as quickly as we can verify their merit.
